Workshop includes lecture, PowerPoint presentation, video, interactive activities, games, written materials and live demonstrations on how to train behaviors from start to finish (if birds are available at the host facility). An educational and fun experience is the goal. An open forum is encouraged to analyze all companion parrot behavior challenges and goals.

Workshop is suitable for companion animal caregivers as well as animal industry professionals!

TJ ... AFRICAN GREY

this is a very reluctant sale of my grey TJ who is 7 years old he is ringed but no papers after long thought i have to do what is best for him and i have to sell him as i have just started a full time job and i dont have the quality time to spend with him no more which is not fair. he can talk very well and has an extensive vocabulary, but i must say he does swear, ermmmm, he doesnt talk on demand and sometimes is very quiet in front of strangers but saying that normally he doesnt shut up talking until its like bedtime, like now as i am writing this he is chatting away to himself, bless him. i do clip his wings so he cant fly but if you wished you could let them grow back so he can fly but i found i prefered him not to fly as he has the run of the house anyway, the only time i shut in him his cage is when its bedtime or i go out somewhere. i want him to go to someone who will also love him as much as i do and have him out alot too not to be locked in his cage all the time, so i wont just let him go to anyone, also bear in mind these birds live a very long time so commitment is a must not just a fly by night whim. he is tame and will let you pick him kiss him and gets on with my westie too but i will say he does bite sometimes but i'm sure just like us humans they have there off days, you take the bad with the good. if i get my full asking price i will include his cage which is a corner cage. i do have pictures if anybody wants them but didnt know how to put on here sorry, cant think what else to say and sorry about the essay but he means alot to me if you have any questions and feel you can give tj a really loving home I HAVE MORE PICTURES IF INTERESTED. then get in touch.
